Labor Day Weekend

The Klemmensen's took a family vacation along with my parents, Cassie, Tyler and Marisa. We go to Brainerd every year as a family to watch Papa race his car. This is year was by far the most fun yet. Trig was so into it. He was so cute. And said the most random stuff. Nala was so good. I don't think we heard a peep out of her all weekend and she slept through the night Saturday night and again last night. Things are going great. Everyone was going out to eat Saturday night so I thought Trig and I would stay back and use the water park. He loves the water park. We were all crammed into the elevator along with a few other people and the door opens and Trig yells GET OUT. He wasn't being mean or rude he was just so excited to get to the water park. Than we were going into the racetrack and he is telling the cars COME ON LETS MOVE IT. He was so funny. He so much wanted to ride with Papa in his race car and kept telling us that he was going to wear his helmet and race a mile with Papa. He was bound and determined that Papa raced a mile not a 1/4 mile. So we let him think that. The last run down the track Trig got to ride in the car with Papa back to the trailer. He was in heaven he waved at everyone like he owned the place.

Nala had a lot of firsts it seems like this weekend. She is sitting up by herself, pulling her toys to make noise, teething (she sucks her bottom lip) and got to go to the track with us and watch Papa race. Although she pretty much slept. This teething I think is hard work for her. She doesn't ever cry though. So she is either really tough like her brother or she is just another great baby. She slept through the night the last two nights and that has been awesome besides I think that I am way more tired now that I am when I have to get up with her because I am up a lot when she doesn't get up to check on her.

Chad and I are doing great also. Chad joined us on our trip which I love. I don't feel like we see enough of him so it was so good to have him there with us. We really tend to miss him. He has been working really long hours at his job and it makes it hard to have a family life sometimes. One thing my parents always say is they wish we would have had more family dinners together. We as a family now could never have family means as Trig would be eating as he was in bed sleeping. Chad is eating dinner half the time at around 10:30p - 11p. I have been keeping busy with work also. So we are just running around with our heads cut off.

I will post some pictures of the race.

Trig with is shirt on that says Don't you wish your PAPA could race like mine.

Papa's favorite pit crew. They are the best helpers.

Sleeping beauty at the track. She sleeps through the loudest noises.

Nala with her Don't you wish your PAPA could race like mine onsie.

Trig is all ready to drive. But he needs to wear a helmet and so far the helmet has not been found since it was bought last year. It will show up. But it was also a good excuse on why he couldn't race with PAPA as it was never going to be able to go down the track with him anyways.

Far TOOOO Long my Friends

Well I don't even know where to start. Chad and I got married on July 21, 2012 and are still going strong. It was kind of a weird things that happened to us the day after the fair we found out we were going to have a baby. We also found out we were having Trig the day after the fair ended so that was kind of weird.

We will skip ahead a little ways.

Nala arrived a month earlier than expected. She came out a screaming on March 25, 2013. She is such an amazing little critter. I ended up going back to work a month early as I am a worker these days. We searched for day cares and found one but I just wanted a nanny.

So here is our Nanny Cassie. She is amazing with the kids and they love her to pieces. (I had to throw a picture of Nala in there too.) Trig and her have so much fun. This is one of my favorite pictures of the two with funny faces.

As you can tell she is wonderful. She treats our children as her own. She does amazing work and we are hoping to keep her for a very very long time.

One fear I had with Trig was that his personality was going to change once I had Nala. But it didn't he loves her more than words could ever express. When we are driving down the road he always talks to her if she is crying. He is an amazing BIG brother. The kids were going to Tyler and Marisa's for the weekend and Nala was crying on the drive up and Trig says to her, "No cry Nala we going to Tyler's house!" it was so cute. He will yell at us that he is going to hold her so he does and tries to feed her and so now I will let you have a picture of that.

I am cherishing every moment I can with the Little Nala because I won't ever have the little snuggles at night again. And it is getting sad because last night she actually slept through the night so I am guessing my days are limited. This is when I wish to myself that I could have more children. But God only gives us what we can handle and I guess he doesn't think I can handle anymore.

As for Trig he is more than words can describe. He is by far one of the smartest kids I know. What 2 year old and 4 months knows the difference between a flat head and phillips screwdriver. Yep that is right that would be Trig. He had a total meltdown one day because he didn't have the right screwdriver we were so confused because he had a screwdriver he kept telling us to go back in the house and Trig look in drawer (the junk drawer) so we did and lone and behold he needed a phillips not a flat head. Well since than he has taken every screw out of our house. He took the top of his cubbies for this toys off, the flooring and I am guessing the hinges of the doors will be next.

Chad has been very busy with work. I don't think he has had a week under 65 hours in the last month. Than the farm on top of that we don't see much of each other which can make things very difficult sometimes. We miss him a lot.

I am still working at the hospital in the PICU. I have picked up some hours at the shop working for my parents as they needed a little extra help so I come and go as I please just as long as I get my work done and than I have started up Made By Tamora. If you are interested in seeing things that we make (my neighbor Deanna has been helping out tremendously.) I told her if we go big she can be my Vice President. So between all that things are nuts around our home. But we wouldn't have it any other way.

That is a little bit about what and where we have been lately. I hope to keep up with the Blog now. So lets pray that I can do it.
