It's Been a Long Time...

It has been a long time since I blogged. I think that I really need to start it back up again. So much changes in our lives from a day to day stand point.

Trig:

Trig is still my little Superman. He is a strong little guy that has overcome so much this year. He had two operations one to take out 8 lymph nodes on the left side of this neck. He had nodes bigger than eggs two of them and than 5 littler ones. He had this procedure done in February. Than in May we noticed he was getting a swollen neck on the right side so we went back in and had them removed out of the right side. He is a good kid now. And you would have never known the monster had surgery. Is is like new the minute we leave the hospital. Trig is such a funny and smart kid. A little story about him. We were at the race track not long ago and it had rained so my Dad had put the golf cart in the trailer and my Mom later went to take it out and Trig was sitting beside her laughing as she was trying to get my Dad's attention because the golf cart wouldn't move. Finally she couldn't get his attention and Trig looks over at her and says Nana I have the golf cart tied down. Trig is very smart and loves to have fun. He will be found outside playing whenever possible and his favorite pass time is going to the Farm with his Dad. He will be starting Preschool and Hockey this fall.

Nala:

Where do I begin. She is a stubborn little peanut. My mom says she is just like me. Well isn't that just great. She has a mind of her own and is very very independent. She doesn't like help and will do things on her own. Don't hold her or try to pick her up. She is a strong willed little girl. She has a new obsession with telling on Trig which is actually comical because she doesn't really talk. She just screams. She will take your hand and bring you where she wants you and start pointing and telling on Trig. She is such a joy in my life and I couldn't imagine my life without her. Nala will be joining gymnastics this fall. I can't wait to see her doing all this.

Chad and Tamora:

We are doing wonderful. Living life to the fullest if that is what you want to call it. I had to undergo a full hysterectomy in March so yes if you are thinking in your head we had three major surgeries in just 5 short months this year. It was a little stressful but I just had to keep trucking along. Chad is still at Borneke Construction doing his thing and farming at night. Getting him away to do anything is like pulling teeth. I am on the search for a job. I have had three interviews in the last few days so hoping one of the positions pan out. I am ready for a job closer to home as Trig will be starting school here in just a short month. Where has the time gone. My two children are such a job even when I think I may not make it through the day. At the end of the day when I finally sit down and relax maybe I get that for a good five minutes a day all I can think about is how can I make tomorrow a better day today wasn't such a great day. But with two children I have come to the conclusion every day will be a challenge. We have had a wonderful Nanny this summer and she will be leaving us next week which makes me sad and we will have another one start the day after Labor Day. I have been working for my parents 10 days a month. I love it up here and being able to visit with people but the drive is just not that fun anymore. I think my driving days are done. I feel like all I do is drive. I keep joking with Chad I don't know what I will do if I only have to drive 7 miles to work everyday.

We will be having our family pictures on the Farm next week and I can't wait to get some back to share with everyone as the kids are getting so big. But there isn't too much that has went on in our family lately besides medically. Chad and I did just celebrate our two year anniversary and he made it such a special night for us he took me to dinner at Osaka and bought me the wedding band that I had wanted to complete my ring with the three parts.

Until next time which I am hoping to make this a point to blog at least 3 times a week. We shall see. If you see me slacking just send me a nudge and say hey we haven't heard from you in a while.

Our life might be crazy but we sure love every minute of it.
